Report, etc. based on the Japan Fair Trade Commission’s Request for Report regarding the Business Combination between Osaka Securities Exchange Co., Ltd. and Tokyo Stock Exchange Group, Inc.

On January 4, 2012, Osaka Securities Exchange Co., Ltd. and Tokyo Stock Exchange Group, Inc. filed a notification to the Japan Fair Trade Commission in relation to their business combination in accordance with the Anti-Monopoly Act. Both companies submitted reports, etc. based on a request for such by the Japan Fair Trade Commission on February 3, and all of such reports, etc. were accepted today.
The examination by the commission will continue and notification of its results will be released promptly after they become available.
