The adjustment and change on Security Options

The following changes are scheduled for shares of JAPAN TOBACCO INC. (Code: 2914):

  • A split of common stock (one share shall be split into two hundred shares)
    Effective day: July 1, 2012 (As of record date June 30, 2012 (in actuality June 29, 2012))
  • The trading unit shall be changed to one hundred shares
    Effective day: July 1, 2012

In accordance with this, OSE shall adjust the following items as listed below relating to security options based upon the above security on the ex-rights date of Wednesday, June 27, 2012.

  1. Adjustment of strike prices
    The strike prices as of June 26, 2012 shall be divided by two hundred.
  2. Adjustment of open interest
    The open interest as of June 26, 2012 shall be multiplied by two.
  3. Number of securities underlying one trading unit of the security option
    Changes from 1 unit to 100 units
  4. Change of positions limits
    Changes from 50,000 units to 100,000 units
